The transition from Youth on Course to full-price NCGA membership can be tough – yet we know you don’t want to lose your Handicap Index or all the other NCGA membership benefits you’ve enjoyed. That’s why we launched the NCGA NEXT program as a stepping stone. NCGA NEXT offers past participants of NorCal Youth on Course ages 19 to 25 an exclusive membership opportunity.

Not only does NCGA NEXT membership come with a full NCGA membership, including a Handicap Index®, access to tournaments and events for all ages and abilities, exclusive discounts, and more –it ALSO includes reduced rates at participating NCGA NEXT facilities throughout Northern California. Membership lasts 12 months from the day you sign up and costs only $46 (versus standard NCGA eClub membership of $75).

  • Who is eligible to join?

    Eligible members are former Youth on Course members who are between the ages of 19 and 25.

  • How do I join?

    Join NCGA NEXT by using your existing GHIN number from your previous Youth On Course membership.

  • How do I get my NCGA NEXT membership card?

    Membership cards can be printed or saved digitally at GHIN.com. Simply log in with your GHIN number and last name. Once logged in click the “three lines” menu button in the top left corner and select “My Card” to view your membership card.

     

    Pro Tip: Screenshot your membership card on your phone to always have easy access to it!

     

  • How do I get Discounts at participating golf courses?

    Please call facility Pro Shops to verify before visiting any participating course. Please have your membership card available for verification.

  • How much does a NCGA NEXT membership cost?

    Membership is $46 per year. 

  • How long does my membership last?

    All NCGA NEXT memberships are valid for a full 12-months from the day you join. (Eg. If you join on August 1, your membership is valid through July 31 of the following year).

  • I joined NCGA NEXT online. Now what?

    After you sign up, you will receive a “Welcome” email with your membership number. If you already have a GHIN number from another club, be sure to sign up with that number to avoid being assigned a new one.

  • Are there restrictions for using my membership card?

    You can play golf using your NCGA NEXT membership card as many times as you like – there is no limit. However, you can not use the card to play in tournaments, competitions or organized events. Please call the participating facility for availability.

  • Does my NCGA NEXT membership pay for range balls or golf carts fees?

    No. NCGA NEXT membership does not cover range balls or golf cart fees.

  • Can I join NCGA NEXT through my golf course or club?

    NCGA NEXT membership is only available online. You can keep your golf course or club membership and also join NCGA NEXT to have access to affordable golf at participating course and facilities throughout Northern California.

  • I am over the age of 25, but still want access to all NCGA has to offer. What should I do?

    Become a Member or consider joining at a club or course near you. When you join, you become part of a community of 185,000+ golfers in Northern California.
