How to Join

The NCGA is an association of clubs. To join the NCGA, you must join a club. There are three types of clubs to choose from – Regular Club, Associate Club or eClub – (described below).

When you join the NCGA through one of our clubs, you become part of our community – over 190,000 golfers in every corner of Northern California. We all like to golf, whether it’s every day, once a week, or even once a year.

Join a club (or start your own) and get access to great value and exclusive benefits that support your game and help you enjoy golf more.

Regular Club

Regular Club

There are over 400 public and private golf course-based clubs in Northern California. Membership dues vary and are paid directly to the club. To get more information, contact the pro shop at a golf course that you may be interested in joining.

Associate Club

Associate Club

Associate clubs are not usually linked to a single golf course. They are formed by golfers ‘associated’ by a common interest or affiliation. Membership dues vary and are paid directly to the club.

NCGA eClub

NCGA eClub

NCGA eClubs are online virtual clubs. Receive full NCGA benefits with a quick and easy registration. A 12-month membership is $85. You can transfer to a regular or associate club later if you find one you like.
