The 2015 CIF State Girls’ Golf High School Championship will bring some powerhouses to host course Poppy Hills in Pebble Beach. SoCal champ Andrea Lee of Mira Costa is the No.24 ranked amateur in the world.
The awards keep coming in for the new Poppy Hills Golf Course. Recently, the California Golf Course Owners Association tabbed the NCGA’s home course its 2015 Course of the Year.

2011 U.S. Senior Open champ Olin Browne tied the Poppy Hills course record Saturday at The First Tee Open, carding a 6-under 65. St. Mary’s senior Jonathan De Los Reyes shot 65 at the NCGA Amateur Stroke Play Championship.
The pros returned to the new Poppy Hills on Friday for the first round of the 2015 Nature Valley First Tee Open at Pebble Beach. They’ll also be at Poppy on Saturday. Admission is free.
