The fields for two of the most popular events during AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am week–the Chevron 49ers-Giants Charity Shoot-Out and 3M Celebrity Challenge–are set, at least for now. In other AT&T Pro-Am news, former 49ers head coach and current University of Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh has joined the field.
Over the last few years, there’s been whispers that the AT&T Pro-Am was getting tired. The field for the 2016 AT&T Pro-Am brings back a much needed jolt.
The annual AT&T Pro-Am has dropped “national” from its name and is now the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Along with a name change, the tournament also has a new logo. The 2016 tournament could also see an influx of new celebrity names.
The new 10th tee at Pebble Beach turned the heads of pros during the AT&T. It could be used during the 2018 U.S. A.m. or 2019 U.S. Open. Pebble Beach is also planning to renovate the 14th and 17th greens.
