NCGA Rules Workshops

Workshop Format: The 2 ½ Day Workshop will review key elements of the Rules of Golf and its Interpretations.  The format consists of a lecture using Power Point for two days and an optional exam on the third day. The Power Point will contain text of the Rules of Golf, video, photographs and animations. Participants should review the text of the Rules of Golf prior to the seminar for the best experience. Each day will begin at 8:00 AM and conclude at 5:00 PM.  The exam starts at 8:00 AM and finishes at 11:30 AM, followed by review of test questions. Plan to stay for the review as it is a great learning tool. Review will finish by 1:30 PM.

Cancellation/Transfer Policy:  If cancellation is made 10 or more working days before the workshop, there will be a refund of the full amount minus a $15 administration fee.   If withdrawing after the registration deadline, there will be NO refund.  A transfer of sites made less than 10 working days before the workshop will incur an additional $15 transfer fee.

NCGA On-Course Rules Seminars

We hold half-day workshops out on the course in a group setting to show you how to apply the rules – bunkers, greens, penalty areas and more.

Dates & Locations will be posted in Spring 2019.

NCGA Club Seminars

If you have 25 or more members that want to take a rules training class, we’ll come to your club; contact Ryan Farb for scheduling. (Note: due to the fall training volume, this option will not be available during October – November.)
