First played in 1994, the NCGA Net Amateur Championship is an individual handicap event for NCGA members of regular clubs. It is contested in three flights divided by handicap index. The championship rotates every year between Poppy Hills GC and Poppy Ridge GC.

QUALIFYING for the 2021 Net Amateur Championship will take place September 9-19 at the following courses:

ELIGIBILITY: Players must have reached their 18th birthday on or before October 10, 2022 and have a numeric handicap index listed on their club’s master report on the date of registration. All eligible NCGA members may enter qualifying, clubs are not limited in the number of members that may participate. In 2022 there is one single Net Amateur Championship, members of BOTH regular and associate clubs are eligible.

FORMAT: Individual net stroke play. 18 holes for qualifying. 36 holes, 18 holes per day for the championship proper. Players will use 95% of their course handicap at all levels of play.
