Rob Thompson (pictured) wins the 3rd Annual NCGA Super Senior Championship at Valley Hi CC in Elk Grove. Thompson sank a 40-foot putt on the final hole of regulation to beat defending champion James Myers by one stroke. Read more.

The team from Whitney Oaks GC (pictured) wins the 24th Annual NCGA Team Match Championships with a score of 20-16 over StoneTree GC. This is the first time Whitney Oaks has ever won the team match title. Read more.
7th Annual Northern California Women’s Four-Ball Championship
The 7th Annual Northern California Women’s Four-Ball Championship concluded at Quail Lodge GC on Friday October 19. The winning teams are Sue Stryker and Stacey Baba (Merlot), Beverly Olson and Alba Rodriguez (Zinfandel) and Nancy Boggs and Carline Haug (Chardonnay). Read more.

Jan Jakovac (pictured) won the president flight of the 19th Annual NCGA Net Amateur Championship on the first hole of a sudden-death playoff, Tuesday. Brian Chamberlain won the director flight by a single stroke, while Vint Stevenson won the secretary flight by five strokes. Read more.
9th Annual NCGA Master Division Four-Ball Championship
Russell Humphrey and Jeff Hoffman (pictured) came from three strokes down to win the 9th Annual NCGA Master Division Championship by a single stroke. The duo’s final round of seven-under 65 was good enough for a 36-hole total of 134. Read more.
