September 28, 2015 Ryan O’Donnell emerged as the champion of the annual Chico City Championship held at Bidwell Park GC. O’Donnell defeated Cole Chavez in the finals of the match play event. Semifinalists were Noah Norton and Chad Kimmelshue.
The championship was held at Poppy Hills.
With a 7 and 6 finals win over Derek Bard, Clovis resident Bryson DeChambeau became the first Northern California player to win the title since Ricky Barnes in 2002.
