Continuing a tradition began in 2015, we present our second annual Rules Quiz. The questions are complex requiring a nuanced command of the Rules of Golf. The quiz also requires a Decisions on the Rules of Golf book (available on USGA.org). Some of the questions pertain to new rules and decisions implemented for 2016.

Running on a golf course? It happened on Sunday at Poppy Hills Golf Course, as the inaugural ‘RunForeFun’ 5K and 10K were held on the course in Pebble Beach.
There’s a number of changes for 2016 for the NCGA Amateur Tour. Among them are the names of some championships and player eligibility, such as the Masters Division Championship becoming the Mid-Amateur Championship (open to players 25-older).
The inaugural ‘Run Fore Fun’ 5K and 10K races, benefitting Youth on Course and part of Fleet Feet Sports’ Run the Bay Race Series, will be held this Sunday at Poppy Hills Golf Course. Making the event a one-of-a-kind race will be the course, which features parts of the actual golf course.
