ENTRY FEE : $250. Entry fee includes green fees, practice balls before the rounds and lunch each day.
ELIGIBILITY : Open to female amateurs with a current handicap index not exceeding 7.4 as of the July 5, 2021 USGA Handicap Index Revision (must be 7.4 or less at time of entry also). A current index issued from an international body of golf that would be equivalent to a USGA Handicap Index within the prescribed limit for entry into the Championship will be accepted.
FIELD: Field limited to the 156 players with the lowest July 5th Handicap Indexes for stroke-play qualifying.
FORMAT: 36 holes of stroke-play qualifying, 18 holes a day, cut to the low 32 players for single elimination match play. A tie for the last spot will be decided immediately after play on Wednesday, July 21st with a hole-by-hole play-off.

Mexico City native Sara Camarena made a splash in her Golden State debut. Camarena, a 20-year-old junior at Cal State University-Fullerton, made a clutch par on the tough par-3 18th hole Friday at Pasatiempo Golf Course to hold off Katherine Zhu, 1-up, and win the 54th California Women’s Amateur Championship.
