Itsuko Moridaira and four others are on their way to this year’s U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur after advancing through an 18-hole qualifier held Monday at Rancho Murieta CC.
Moridaira was medalist with a score of even par 72. Also advancing to the championship proper were Lydia Shell (75), Lisa Ferrante (77), Angie Friedrich (78) and Pat Cornett (81).
This year’s U.S. Senior Women’s Am will tee off Sept. 10-15 at The Lakewood Club in Alabama.
