Stay Golf Ready–Keeping Up to Date
By now most of us have been in Shelter-in-Place for a few weeks. Some of us have managed to get in a few rounds, but most of us have not. If you’ve been checking out golf-related social media or online news sources or the Golf Channel (or even our first NCGA Stay Golf Ready article here), you’ve seen countless exercise tips, inside putting drills, outside chipping drills and pro tips and tricks galore. Keep enjoying that – there are lots of fun and helpful things to do and try and share with friends & family online. It can be a bit much, so focus on the few that resonate with you.
- Did you clean out your golf bag yet?–Now’s a great time to find and throw out those expired granola bars, pro shop receipts, found balls that have seen one too many cart paths and pre-2019 Rules books. Clean everything! Inventory and re-stock – golf stores are open online and there are many good deals to be had.
