On the Move
Annual NCGA Public Links Championship Has Many Changes For 2019
If you haven’t noticed yet, there’s been some big changes to the annual NCGA Public Links and Public Links Net Championships.
For starters, the two events are back to being played together. Both of this year’s championships will be held July 22-23 at Poppy Hills Golf Course.
Which marks yet another change! In the past, the championships were held in April, with qualifiers in March.
Other changes involve qualifying. For the 2019 championship, qualifiers will take place on multiple days (June 19-29) instead of just one, and now include weekend dates.
To register, players must sign up by June 2. All members whose clubs are public, semi-private, associate and E-Club are eligible to enter.
The Net Championship is open to men with handicaps up to 36.4 and women with handicaps up to 40.4.
