Tahoe Paradise GC shot a final round 12-under 132 to come in at 24-under 262 and win the annual NCGA South Sierra Zone Championship.
The Tahoe Paradise GC squad is made up of teammates Colby Gunsch, Allen Vogt, Steve Cline and Bryan Steele.
The Tahoe City GC squad shot a 129 in a format that takes the two best net scores of a four-person team. They’d finish second.
Both Tahoe Paradise GC and Tahoe City earned spots into this year’s NCGA Zone Championship, slated for Aug. 26-27 at Spyglass Hill and Poppy Hills.
Apple Mountain GC and Saddle Creek GC both finished tied for third at 264 after final rounds of 130 and 131, respectively.

Tahoe Paradise GC took the early lead at the annual NCGA South Sierra Zone Championship.
The Tahoe Paradise GC squad, made up of teammates Colby Gunsch, Allen Vogt, Steve Cline and Bryan Steele, shot 12-under 130 in Monday’s opening round at par-71 Poppy Hills playing in a format that takes the two best net scores of a four-person team.
Wawona GC is in second place at 131. Saddle Creek GC is in third at 133.
Only the two low teams will advance to this year’s NCGA Zone Championship, set for Aug. 26-27 at Spyglass Hill and Poppy Hills.
Tuesday’s second round will see play shift to par-72 Bayonet/Black Horse GC.
