New Points Calendar For the 2018-2019 Season
There’s a big change coming for tournament players.
For the 2018-2019 Season, the NCGA Points Calendar will run from Oct. 1, 2018-Sept.30, 2019. The change will go into effect for all Player of the Year divisions: NCGA Player of the Year, NCGA Women’s Player of the Year, NCGA Senior Player of the Year, NCGA Senior Women’s Player of the Year and NCGA Super Senior Player of the Year. The change allows NCGA officials to select the Cup Match teams without having to create a separate points list.
The NCGA Points Calendar traditionally has run from Oct. 1 to Sept. 30 of the following year. The 2017-2018 season, which is ongoing, began Dec. 1 and will conclude Nov.30.
Another change has to do with points based on field sizes. In Regular Division Events points are broken down by the following:
50 Points Level 10-19 Players
75 Points Level 20-29 Players
100 Points Level 40-69 Players
150 Points Level 70-119 Players
200 Points Level 120-Plus Players
In Senior Division and Women’s Division events, points are broken down by the following:
50 Points Level 10-14 Players
75 Points Level 15-19 Players
100 Points Level 20-Plus Players
150 Points Level 30-Plus Players
200 Points Level 40-Plus Players
