Salinda Carrying NorCal Torch Into U.S. Amateur Quarterfinals
No.29 seed Isaiah Salinda, 21, of South San Francisco, is the last NorCal player left in the brackets at this week’s U.S. Amateur at Pebble Beach Golf Links..
“There were quite a few people watching. My family, my parents, my brother, a couple teammates, and a lot of guys who said that they’re from the Bay Area, so that meant a lot. It will probably increase tomorrow, so I’m excited.”
