Five NorCal Players Tabbed For Arnold Palmer Cup
The Arnold Palmer Cup teams for both the International and United States were announced Wednesday at the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard at Bay Hill Club & Lodge. The annual Ryder Cup-style competition will be played July 6-8 at Evian Resort Golf Club. The 2018 Arnold Palmer Cup will be the first using the expanded format of United States men’s and women’s collegiate golfers versus their counterparts from around the world.
Among those competing for the U.S. Men’s squad are 2016 NCGA Player of the Year Shintaro Ban (senior at UNLV), former Junior Tour of Northern California Player of the Year Justin Suh (junior at USC) and Cal junior Collin Morikawa. Fellow Bear K.K. Limbhasut will play for the International team (representing Thailand).
On the Women’s side, the U,S. squad will feature Stanford sophomore Andrea Lee.
