Youth on Course Growth Spurt
Youth on Course—the unprecedented junior golf program created by the NCGA in 2006, has had a record-breaking year.
Along with enabling juniors to play more than 100.000 rounds at $5 or less in 2017,and awarding college scholarships, the non-profit has seen membership numbers and partnerships grow approximately 50% since last January. Currently stretching across 19 states and regions, Youth on Course strives to be in all 50 states soon.
“We are on a mission to inspire the 2.9 million golfers ages 6-17 who are starting the game earlier in life,” Youth on Course Executive Director Adam Heieck said. “Thanks to our increasing state, association and local partners, we are dedicated to making a significant difference in young people’s lives while strengthening the game.”
