Swenson Park GC member Lyal Beeskau and Roger Brandt went deep when it counted.
The two posted a final round 13-under 59 and won a sudden-death playoff over Dan Andaya and Fred Granados of E-Club Sacramento to capture the annual NCGA Senior Four-Ball Net Championship. Both teams finished the 36-hole event at par-72 Poppy Ridge GC with identical scores of 21-under 123.
Andaya and Granados, who opened with a 59, shot 64 in the finale.
Third place went to Rich Gleghorn and Jim Morell of DeLaveaga at 124 after a 60.

There’s a logjam at the top of the leaderboard, as four teams finished Monday’s first round at par-72 Poppy Ridge GC with identical scores of 13-under 59.
The four teams at the top are Rooster Run GC (Dennis Kenney and Terry McBroom), FIRS and GIRS (Alan Henrickson and Jim Layne), E-Club Sacramento GC (Dan Andaya and Fred Granados) and Koasches Golf Klub (Craig Berg and Ron Hirschman).
Another four teams are two shots back at 61. The final round will be held Tuesday.
