The Junior Tour of Northern California is making its presence felt at the 101st annual San Francisco City Championship.
Ashkaan Hakim and Brendon Choe, both JTNC members, shared medalist honors at this past weekend’s qualifying, posting identical 36-hole scores of even-par 140.
Hakim, who hails from San Ramon, shot a 72 at TPC Harding Park and an even-par 68 at Lincoln GC. Choe, of Orinda, had a 71 at TPC Harding Park and a 69 at Lincoln.
Rounding out the Top 4 seeds were San Ramon’s Isaiah Choi (142) and Ben Peters of Redwood City (143).
The cutline to advance to match play (low 64) came at 14-over 154.
