Beth Lillie
It was a Southern California sweep as Walnut High earned its first State title, while Beth Lillie took the Individual championship at Red Hill Country Club in Rancho Cucamonga.
Walnut High shot a team score of 394 to edge Troy High (Fullerton) by three strokes. The Mustangs were led by a 75 from Abigail Wirinatha, a 76 from Anabelle Change and a 79 by Trussy Li. Other Walnut scores (best five out of six) were Keisha Lugito (82), Katherine Muzi (82) and Naomi Wiranatha (90).
The Troy Warriors were paced by a medalist-earning 70 from Lillie and an 83 by Kaylee Sakoda. The highest Northern California Team finish came from St. Francis of Mountain View, who placed third at 404 thanks in part to a 76 by Maya Pugatch. Pugatch finished eighth in the Individual championship, the highest for a Northern California player.

Walnut High
