2016 New NCGA Pace of Play Policy

Champion Moffett Field GC
Moffett Field GC went wire-to-wire to win the annual NCGA South Bay Zone Championship.
Coming off a first round 121 at par-70 Carmel Valley Ranch, Moffett Field GC posted a 16-under 126 at par-71 Quail Lodge Resort to finish at 35-under 347, eight shots better than runner-up Pasatiempo GC. The Moffett Field GC squad, made up of teammates Michael Dye, Andrew Dye, Thinh Ha and Alan Tachibana, had five eagles and six birdies to go against one bogey in a format that takes the two best net scores per hole of a four-man team.
Pasatiempo GC, made up of teammates Ken Smith, Russell Kingon, Y.G. Lee and Kyle Sather, shot 131 to come in at 255. Third place went to DeLaveaga GC at 256.
Both Moffett Field GC and Pasatiempo GC earned automatic spots into this year’s NCGA Zone Championship, slated for August 29-30 at Poppy Hills and Spyglass Hill.

Runner-up Pasateimpo GC

Moffett Field GC is in good shape after day one of the annual NCGA South Bay Zone Championship.
Moffett Field GC, made up of teammates Michael Dye, Andrew Dye, Thinh Ha and Alan Tachibana, took a three shot lead after posting a 19-under 121 in a format that takes the two best net scores per hole of a four-man team at par-70 Carmel Valley Ranch.
In second place at 124 are both Boulder Creek GC and Pasatiempo GC.
Only the low two finishers will advance to this year’s NCGA Zone Championship, slated for August 29-30 at Poppy Hills and Spyglass Hill.
Friday’s final round will see play move over to par-71 Quail Lodge Resort.
