There’s just one more weekend left in determining who the champions of the 100th San Francisco City Championship will be.
In the Men’s Championship, the semifinals will see No.10 Noah Sheikh take on No.11 Marcus Potter and No.32 Ben Peters squaring off with No.13 Daniel Connolly.
Peters, who eliminated No.1 seed Dominic Salomone in the second round, advanced with a 4 and 2 quarterfinals win over No.57 Raj Chekuri.
In the Women’s Championship, three of the top four seeds are headed into the final weekend.
No.1 Sabrina Iqbal of San Jose will take on No.4 Ty Akabane, while No.3 Belinda Hu will face No.10 Sagee Palavivatana. Palivivatana got the big upset in the quarterfinals, eliminating No.3 seed Kiran Sangha, 3 and 2.
The Senior Championship brackets also saw some upsets over the weekend.

No.9 Jim Williams knocked out No.1 Scott Anderson with a win on the 20th hole. Williams will next take on No.4 Randy Haag in Saturday’s semifinals. Also advancing to the Senior semis were No.2 Gary Vanier and No.22 Dean Prince. Vanier, the defending champion, slipped by No.23 Michael Hartshorn 1-up, while Prince defeated Charles Follett, 5 and 3.
The Super Senior Championship semifinals will pit No.1 Jay Guerin vs. No.4 Herb Jensen and No.15 Chuck Daikon vs. No.11 David Bosley.
All semifinals action will take place on Saturday. The finals will be held on Sunday, also at TPC Harding Park.
