Carmichael resident Stephen Griggs took the title at the annual Stockton City Championship at Swenson Park GC and Van Buskirk GC.
Griggs shot 141 over the two-day, 36-hole event, defeating runner-up Patrick Burda by three shots. Burda recently won the Manteca City Championship.
Matt Anderson of Bay Point and Danny Garcia of Stockton finished tied for third at 146.
