Kraig McLeod came home and took the title.
McLeod, a junior at University of San Francisco who grew up in Pebble Beach and attended Carmel High, shot a final round 2-under 70 to win the annual AmateurGolf.com Monterey Bay Championship by a stroke over co-runner-ups John Greco and Ryan Gronlund.
McLeod finished the 36-hole event at 149 after also shooting an opening round 79. Greco, who hails from Sunnyvale, came in at 150 after identical rounds of 75. Gronlund, of Pleasanton, had rounds of 79-71.
Former Stevenson School standout Michael Decker finished T-4 with Cody Riecks at 151.
In the Senior Championship, Mitch Harrison of Acampo had rounds of 75-72 to finish at 147 and defeat co-runner-ups Jeff Britton of Carmel and David Ujihara of Brea by six strokes.
