Playing at par-71 Poppy Hills Golf Course, Maureen Earley of Rolmex Golf Club claimed her second straight title in the Chardonnay Flight, posting a final round 3-over 74 to finish with a two-day total of 6-over 148. She’d defeat runner-up Nicki Anderson of Morro Bay GC by four strokes.

Third place went to Bayonet/Black Horse GC member Dorothy Donnelly at 156 following her second straight 76. Donnelly had a chance to gain more ground but ended up scoring a quadruple-bogey on the closing 18th. She’d earlier birdied both the par-5 9th and 10th holes.
Over in the Merlot Flight, NCGA Directors member Stacey Baba shot 75 to come in at 149 and defeat runner-up Titiwan Kitapan by a stroke. It was Baba’s first NCGA victory.
Baba, who began the day four strokes behind Kitapan, penciled in an eagle and four birdies to go against three bogeys, a double-bogey and a triple-bogey on the 18th. Her eagle came on the difficult par-4 5th hole.
