Jon Peterson and Gary Dunn shot rounds of 64-67 (131) to finish nine strokes ahead of the field and easily win the third annual Granite Bay Four-Ball Amateur Championship at par-71 Granite Bay Golf Club.
Runner-ups were the tandem of John Hayes and Dave Koski, who came in at 140 following rounds of 71-69.
In the Senior championship, Steve Fate and Steve Schroeder combined to shoot 72-67 (139) to win the title by one over the tandem of Craig Gandy and Jeff Sousa (71-69–140).
Schroeder, who a day earlier finished as runner-up in the Senior division of the annual San Francisco City Championship, formerly worked for Poppy Hills Golf Course architect Robert Trent Jones II.
