LEMOORE – Cody Neal won his hometown championship at his home course in a sudden-death playoff over Jordan Koelewyn. Neal came from five strokes back in the final round to tie Jordan Koelewyn at 140, four-under par. Neal’s final round of 67 was the best score over the two days of play and six shots better than his first round score of 73. Koelewyn fired rounds of 69 and 71 to finish at 140.
In third place was AJ Maxedon at 142, two-under par. Maxedon also climbed up the leaderboard the final day as he followed his first round 74 with a final round 68. In a tie for fourth place were Michael Tolladay and Blake Ahlin at 143. Tolloday put together rounds of 70 and 73, while Ahlin posted rounds of 74 and 69. First round leader Daniel Russell followed his 68 with a 77 to finish at 145 with Landon Polterock for a tie for sixth.
No senior division was held.
