First played in 2006, the NCGA Northern California Women’s Four-Ball Net Championship is a two-person, better-ball handicap event for NCGA, WGANC or PWGA members.  The event is contested in three flights – Chardonnay (combined team index 30.2-lower), Merlot (30.3-44.0) and Zinfandel (44.1 and higher), divided by handicap index. The event wasn’t held in 2013 due to lack of entries.   ENTRIES CLOSE: November 1, 2015 ENTRY FEE: $400 per team, includes cart, range balls, and luncheon after the final round. Field limited to the first 54 teams. ELIGIBILITY: Open to all NCGA, WGANC, or PWGA Women Members with a numeric handicap index on their club’s Master Report on the date of registration.   FORMAT: 36 holes four-ball stroke play (18 holes per day). Flights will be determined by dividing all entries into three equal groups based on the team’s combined course handicap. Play will be 95% of the player’s course handicap. If partners’ course handicaps differ by more than 8 strokes, an additional 10 percent reduction will be applied to their course handicap. One partner may represent the team for any part or all of a stipulated round.
