Del Monte GC/Pacific Grove GL December 1-2, 2012 MONTEREY – A rain-shortened Christmas Classic produced only 18 holes of golf at Del Monte GC on the opening weekend of December. Due to the inclement weather, first round leaders Matt Hansen of Los Osos and Cory McElyea of Santa Cruz were named co-champions. Hansen and McElyea each fired a three-under par 69, bettering third place finishers Alex Franklin and Keelan Kilpatrick at two-under par 70. In a three-way tie for fifth place were Cody Blick, Andrew Morgan and Hunter Rappleye, who posted a one-under 71. Pierre LaMothe of Carmel won among the seniors with a one-round score of even-par 72. Antioch City Two-Man Championship Amateur & Senior

Lone Tree GC November 17-18, 2012 ANTIOCH – Nick Sako and Mac Marr won the 2012 Antioch City Two-Man Championship at Lone Tree GC, prevailing by two strokes over Alex Edfort and Danny Garcia. Sako and Marr fired a 36-hole score of 131, 13-under par, beating Edfort and Garcia, who finished at 133, 11-under par. In a tie for third place at 134, 10-under par were the teams James Hay and Russell Humphrey, and Ted and T.J. Martinez. Taking fifth place at 135, nine-under par was the tandem of Scott Watson and Chris Johnson. On the senior side of the things, Terry Foreman and Scott Anderson, cruised to a six-shot victory posting a two-day total of 132, 12-under par. Peter Moren and Gary Ramsden finished as runner-ups with a total of 138, six-under par, while Jim Knoll and Thomas O’Grady finished in third at 139.
