OLIVEHURST – The Roberts brothers, Austin and Andrew, teamed up for their second four-ball victory in the past few weeks, winning the Plumas Lake Best Ball Championship by a four-stroke margin. The Roberts tandem, who won the Marin County Four-Ball in late July, posted an impressive 36-hole score of 123, 19-under-par at Plumas Lake GCC to take home another title. In second place was another familial team, father-and-son duo Tom and Will Scarlett, posting a score of 127, 15-under-par.

In a tie for third place at 132, 10-under-par were teams of Nick Maddalena and Connor Estrada, and 2012 NCGA Master Division Four-Ball Champions, Jeff Hoffman and Russell Humphrey.  Alone in fifth at 133, nine-under-par were Brian Hale and Nick Podesta, while in sixth place at 134, eight-under-par were David Cheatle and Tom Sanchez. Alone in seventh at 135, seven-under-par were Colin Reinschell and Raymon Tira, while teams of Craig Taylor and Lucas Vaughn, and Jarrod and Tanner Makimoto tied for eighth at 136, six-under-par. Rounding out the top-10 and alone in 10th was the team of Steve Gimblin and Don Kennedy at 139, three-under-par.
