PEBBLE BEACH – One of the biggest qualifying days of the year for the NCGA occurred on Wednesday with 13 sites in action for the NCGA Senior Four-Ball Net Championship Qualifying. The 13 different courses that hosted qualifying Wednesday included Ancil Hoffman GC, Bidwell Park GC, Boundary Oak GC, Castle Oaks GC, Deer Ridge GC, Foxtail GC, Laguna Seca GR, Lockeford Springs GC, Metropolitan GL, Paradise Valley GC, Ridgemark GCC, Santa Clara GTC and Sunnyside CC.

Among the different sites 56 teams advanced to the championship with no more than five teams qualifying at each site. The smallest of the 13 sites was Bidwell Park GC in Chico, which only allotted two championship field spots. Qualifying scores varied as well with the lowest net score coming from the team of Pacific Service Emp. GC firing a 58 at Castle Oaks GC, while the highest qualifying score was shot by Loons Nest GC at Foxtail GC with a 66.

The 15th Annual NCGA Senior Four-Ball Net Championship will take place on September 23-24 at Poppy Ridge GC. All results are unofficial until scorecards from each of the qualifying sites have been verified by NCGA staff.
