Sacramento City Men’s Championship

Haggin Oaks GC – Mackenzie
June 15-16, 2013

SACRAMENTO – Brian Knoll won the 92nd Sacramento City Men’s Championship at Haggin Oaks GC, firing a 36-hole score of 138 six-under-par on the MacKenzie Course. Knoll’s wire-to-wire victory included a four-under 68 and a two-under 70 to edge out the competition by one. Ben Corfee finished second at 139, five-under-par, which included a hard charge in the final round with a five-under 67 after opening with an even-par 72.

Scott Raber earned third place after rounds of 71 and 69 to finish at 140 four-under-par. Tied for fourth place at 141 three-under-par were Peter Gibbs and Keith Okasaki, each player firing rounds of 69 and 72, but doing so on opposite days. Blake Abercrombie and Lee Gearhart finished tied for sixth at 142 two-under-par, each opening with rounds of 69 and closing with a 73. Similarly, in a tie for eighth place at 143 one-under-par were Jordan Weir and Cody Bates, who matched rounds of 73 and 70. Rounding out the top 10 in a tie for 10th were Alexander Lee and Michael Tolladay finishing at even-par 144.
