FRESNO – Fresno native Pace Johnson added to his impressive tournament resume with his third win in an NCGA-sanctioned point event for the 2013 season. His win at Fresno City Amateur adds to his wins in the Palo Alto City and Alameda Commuters, giving him three wins worth 150-plus points each. Johnson’s win puts him near the top of the NCGA Player of Year race giving him 550 total points.

Johnson scored a 54-hole total of 209, seven-under par at Riverside GC, edging out a trio of players one shot back. The senior at Cal-Berkley, who opened with an even-par 72, really stepped it up in his final two rounds scoring a three-under 69 on Sunday and a four-under par 68 on Monday’s final round.
