Manteca City Stroke Play Championship

MANTECA – Will Brink, an 18-year-old from Manteca, captured the 37th Annual Manteca City Stroke Play title firing a two-day total of even-par 144 at Manteca Park GC. Brink’s score was good enough to edge out Modesto mid-amateur Patrick Burda who totaled a score of 145, one-over par. Dan Garcia of Stockton took solo third place with a 36-hole score of 147, while Jesse Contreras and 2013 NCGA Public Links Champion Nick Moore finished tied for fourth place at 149, five-over par.

Rounding out the second half of the top 10 were Jerry Ledzinski, Kyle Harman, Anthony Bonales, Jason Faria and Mike Moreland. Ledzinski and Harmon finished tied for sixth posting a 36-hole score of 150, six-over par. Bonales took solo eighth place at 151, seven-over par, while Faria and Moreland finished ninth at 153, nine-over par.
