ROSEVILLE – Cameron Champ won the 2013 Roseville City Amateur with a two-day score of 139, winning by a margin of four strokes. The 17-year-old put together rounds of 69 and 70 to claim a wire-to-wire victory. In a tie for second place were Juan Gonzalez and Brad Carrico at 143. Gonzalez had rounds of 71 and 72, while Carrico went low in the final round with a 68 to follow his opening round 75. In a tie for fourth place was Joel Slak and Bryce Johnson at 145. Slak carded rounds of 70 and 75, while Johnson made a big improvement on his second day following a 77 with a 68.

In the senior division Tom Marks won took a one-stroke victory with a 36-hole score of 146. Marks had rounds of 74 and 75 to take the top spot. Jay Conner and Bob Fleming tied for second place with a score of 147. Conner had rounds of 74 and 73, while Fleming scored rounds of 75 and 72. Tied for fourth were first-round leader Jim Duncan and Dennis Webb at 148. Duncan had a five-shot lead on the field after a first round 69, but fired a final round 79 to drop back in a tie for fourth. Webb had the low final-round score with a 70 to follow his 78.
