SANTA CRUZ – Conor McElyea held off his little brother Cory for the 2012 Santa Cruz City title. Conor finished 36 holes at 140, even par at the par-70 DeLaveaga GC beating his brother by two shots. Cory finished in a three-way tie for second at 142, two-over par with Ryan Sloane and Sebastian Crampton. In fifth place was Jered Stone at 144, while sixth and seventh places went to Scott Abel (145) and Andre De Decker (147). Michael Tolladay and Sean Dyer tied for eighth at 148, while Sam Jackson and Travis Stephens finished tied for tenth at 149.

In the senior division Rob Adolph edged out Tom Marks 144 to 145. In third was Rich Gleghorn at 146, while Joe Beato earned fourth with a score of 150. Bill Snell and Grag Saiki tied for fifth at 152.
