FRESNO – Bill Storey won the 2012 Fresno City Senior Championship with a score a 36-hole score of 143, 1-under par. The Fresno resident’s nearest competition was Fresno State men’s golf coach Mike Watney, who finished with a 36-hole score of 146, 2-over par. Four other Fresno residents round out the top five: David Smith finished alone in third posting a two-day total of 147, Doug Johnson took fourth with a 148 aggregate, while Byron Johnson and Rob Adolph tied for fifth coming in at 150.

Additionally, this was the first year the Master’s division was implemented as an NCGA point event, but unfortunately, there weren’t the minimum of 24 players competing. Tal Tartaglia won the division with a 36-hole score of 143. Finishing in a tie for second was Steve Donnelly and Troy Williams at 147. In a three-way tie for fourth with a score of 148 were Dave Marks, Brian Baker and Mike Stieler.
