Antioch Master/Senior Best-Ball at Lone Tree

Lone Tree GC
March 31-April 1, 2012

ANTIOCH – Players saw a weather-shortened 18-hole event this year at the Antioch Master/Senior Best-Ball—an event which pairs a master-aged player (40+) with a senior-aged player (55+).

Current NCGA Senior Player of the Year Jim Knoll teamed up with Darryl Donovan to win the event shooting an 18-hole score of 64 on Sunday. That edged out Kevin Kobalter and Frank Pieper’s 65. In a tie for third were the Miller and Olds teams—Mark Miller and Chris Miller, and Bob Olds and Scott Olds—who posted 66s. Alone in fifth place at 67 was current NCGA Player of the Year points leader Randy Haag and his partner Paul Balatti.

Despite poor weather 28 teams competed in this year’s event.
