PEBBLE BEACH –  The NCGA Senior Net Championship wrapped up three flights of competition at Poppy Hills.

In the President’s Flight, for competitors with handicaps from 11.3 and below, Wayne Young of Callippe Preserve GC and Tim Stevens of Half Moon Bay GL tied at the end of regulation at four-under-par net 140.  Young won the one-hole playoff to earn top honors.  El Macero’s Brian Chamberlain parlayed his lead from yesterday to finish third with a one-under-par 143.

Chris Asmussen of Sir GC Area 10 also took first after a one-hole playoff in the Director’s Flight, for competitors with handicaps ranging from 11.4- 15.6.  He tied with first-round leader Carlos Munio of Putters & Pitchers GC, as both players carded six-under-par 138s after regulation.  Mike Martinez of XDC GC notched a five-under-par 139 to take third place.

Raymond Edison earned first place in the Secretary’s Flight, for golfers with handicaps exceeding 15.6, with the lowest final score of 14-under-par 130.  Rooster Run GC’s Jeffrey Pintar finished a close second, one stroke back with a 13-under-par 131.  Belinda Kendle of Agilent Technologies rounded out the top spots with a third place finish, posting a nine-under-par 135.

Director's Flight: Champion Chris Asmussen, second place finisher Carlos Munio and third place finisher Mike Martinez.

Secretary's Flight: Champion Raymond Edison, second place finisher Jeffrey Pintar and third place finisher Belinda Kendle.
